iVT has announced it is to host the Hybrid Valve Solutions live webinar on Thursday 24th October at 3pm UK time (BST) in association with HydraForce.
Bringing together the best of both worlds, Bosch Rexroth and HydraForce have joined forces to offer a product portfolio, combining sectional valve technology with cartridge valve technology, in one compact, hybrid valve solution.
This one-hour seminar will provide greater insight into the Bosch Rexroth & HydraForce portfolio, as well as the benefits of modular valve assembly, compactness of hybrid solutions, increased efficiency of hydraulic systems and flexibility of cartridge valve circuits.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to view a selection of hybrid solution case studies from different mobile markets including a snow & ice machine, mower and mobile working platform.
The webinar will be presented by two industry experts from HydraForce: Scott Parker, senior application engineer and Ross Johannes, application tech services team leader.
With degrees in Mechanical Design and Fluid Power Technology, Parker’s 34-year career is comprised of various roles in manifold and valve design, as well as application and system integration. He joined HydraForce in 2000 as an application engineer working with several OEMs and distributors. He is now primarily focused on the upper Midwest region of the US and supporting the launch of new products.
Johannes leads HydraForce America’s technical support team and vehicle R&D lab. Introduced to the off-road equipment working at his family’s plant nursery, he studied Agricultural Engineering and Fluid Power at University, later joining Bosch Rexroth Engineering at the Bethlehem Pennsylvania location in 2016. Johannes worked for seven years in Rexroth Compact Hydraulics, designing valves, power units and hydraulic systems for mobile and industrial equipment. As a valve designer Johannes specialised in hybrid solutions of Rexroth’s diverse products and now augments this approach with the inclusion of HydraForce’s leading valve portfolio.
