Some might consider a 33-year-old Gradall 534B material telehandler to be past its sell-by date. But when this machine had its original 4-cylinder factory-fitted prime mover replaced with a brand new Cummins F3.8 Performance Series diesel engine, it breathed new life into the whole vehicle, improving its handling, power and reliability, as these operatives from Southland Construction testify. The F3.8 has power rated from 100-173 hp (75-130kW) and is Tier 4 Final and Stage V compliant.
