Doosan has announced it will be celebrating its 40th anniversary at the Hillhead 2018 show in the UK, where a selection of its latest vehicles, including excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks, will be present. The Derbyshire event will be held on June 26-28.
The vehicles will all bear anniversary stickers to commemorate the four decades of business Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment has achieved since its machines were first introduced in 1978. In that time, the company has produced more than 400,000 units for markets worldwide.
Among the vehicles on stand will be the firm’s new DA30 30-metric ton articulated dump truck. The most significant development in the machine is the upgrading of the suspension to a hydro-gas self-levelling system that gives superior shock absorption for better driving comfort during empty load driving.
A Doosan spokesperson said, “The cab also offers new safety and performance functions with a more comfortable control panel with a power cut-off switch and an LED indication lamp indicating when it is safe to switch off the power cut off.
“Other features include a new easy-to-use lever for retarder steering, a new more precise brake system for increased sensitivity and performance, an extra hand grip on the right-hand side, a USB charger and a 12V/24V power socket, together with more convenient compartment storage and electrically adjustable mirrors as standard.”
