Raymond Corporation has developed a new 3-wheel, sit down, counterbalanced truck. The increased compartment of the Model 4460 provides operators with increased foot, leg and headroom, while the lower step height and larger entry opening all combine to improve ergonomics.
Several features have been introduced to increase productivity and maximize efficiency; including an open view mast design with integral side shift, a three-stage mast and full free lift. The addition of oil-cooled disc brakes reduces cost of ownership for the truck by keeping the brakes free of dust and debris.
“The newest member of our counterbalanced line, the Model 4460, combines performance, maneuverability and ergonomics to bring our customers the versatility they need,” said Craig Curtis, product manager for counterbalanced trucks at Raymond Corporation.
“The Model 4460 features a low profile with excellent operator visibility, improved performance and productivity in confined spaces such as trailers, ramps and stacking areas.”
Last year, Raymond introduced the Courier 3020 tow tractor automated lift truck it developed in collaboration with Seegrid. Able to tow up to 10,000 lb, the Courier is designed to automate horizontal towing of parts to production lines and finished goods to warehouse facilities.
