Aerial work platform and telehandler manufacturer Haulotte has been appointed a member of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) in recognition of its efforts in increasing safety on the jobsite.
The French manufacturer signed a partnership agreement with the not-for-profit organization that promotes safe handling of industrial equipment during the Europlatform conference, which was held last week in Belfast, Ireland.
The partnership will mean that from now on Haulotte’s 20 sales and services subsidiaries will also be considered to have ‘Sustaining membership of IPAF’.
Stéphane Hubert, chief sales officer, Haulotte Group, said, “We very proud to be the first MEWP (mobile elevating work platform) manufacturer who has signed a worldwide partnership with a unique aim: to promote safety!
“We are proud to claim this agreement to the market place, which highlights one of our main cornerstones: offering a best-in-class and safe user experience to our customers.”
Step forward
Tim Whiteman, CEO and managing director, IPAF, said, “The cooperation between Haulotte and IPAF to promote the safe and effective use of powered access worldwide is a step forward for sharing ideas and experience related to safety and best practice of powered access equipment.
“We really appreciate the commitment this demonstrates to IPAF and its guiding principles and look forward to working with Haulotte to further these aims together in the future.”
