Crown Equipment has announced the expansion of its heavy-duty, diesel-powered range of material handling vehicles with the C-G and C-D Series, meaning the company’s line-up of internal combustion (IC), counterbalance, pneumatic tire forklift trucks is now available with capacities up to 20,000 lb (9,072kg).
Suitable for manufacturing plants, construction sites, brick and lumber yards as well as recycling centers, the machines provide operators with the necessary versatility to handle multiple tasks in unpredictable weather and on rough terrain.
Capable of carrying heavy loads, the new lift-trucks feature either a diesel or LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) engine as well as industrial radiators that provide separate cooling for the powertrain in order to reduce fluid temperatures to extend the life of the vehicle.
Crown Equipment’s internal combustion marketing product manager, Rob Chaney, said, “We work closely with customers to understand their needs, and the operational and business challenges they face.
“With the addition of the C-G Series and C-D Series, our IC portfolio now offers customers more options to achieve productivity and efficiency gains in indoor and outdoor heavy-duty applications. All this is backed by Crown’s extensive support network that encompasses factory support to over 200 sales and service locations.”
