Manitou Group is demonstrating its confidence in the Iberian rough-terrain handling market with the inauguration of new national headquarters in Spain.
With an area of 10,000m2, the new premises in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid will allow the OEM to better exhibit its diverse range of machinery to the Spanish market, serving a greater number of customers more efficiently in the process.
Close to the nation’s capital, the physical building on site is 4,600m2 features upgraded equipment for the training of dealers and will enable technicians to work in complete safety more effectively.
Independent offices and a large warehouse with a loading dock to speed up the transfer of the machines are also highlights of the new facility.
Joao Hebil, managing director of Manitou Spain, said, “These new premises will allow us to optimize our quality of service thanks to adapted spaces. We will offer a wider range of products to our customers, while being closer to our network of distributors.”
Next to the offices, the new center has an amphitheatre intended for the hosting of presentations and seminars, as well as a number of rooms for technical and commercial training. The expectation is that around 300 people will be trained at the site annually.
