Avant’s award-winning hydraulic system for its compact loaders will make its UK debut at Plantworx 2017, to be held in Leicestershire in the UK on June 6-8.
The Optidrive, available on the 700 series loaders, requires 20% fewer hydraulic hoses and 60% fewer hydraulic connections, providing numerous benefits as a result. These include 10% better performance, a parking break in the rear wheels, reduced heat build-up, and less engine vibration in the vehicle.
Power losses in the system were reduced by up to 1,5kW in the drive circuit. The system received Highly Commended recognition in the Environmental Innovation category at the Plantworx Awards 2017 earlier this month.
Avant UK managing director Raimo Ala-Korpi said, “We were delighted to receive the award from the Plantworx team. It recognizes the commitment we have to the environment and ensuring our compact loaders are as environmentally friendly as they can be.”
In addition to this, Avant will have its full range of compact loader models, from the 200 to 700 series, at the Plantworx show where the stand will have a large open space for showcasing the capabilities of the vehicles on display.
“This range of tool carriers is extremely user-friendly, making them ideal for the construction market with a choice of some 200 attachments for outstanding on-site adaptability,” added Ala-Korpi.
