Volvo Construction Equipment has announced it will be bringing the best of its vehicles to Bauma China (November 27-30), including its heaviest ever excavator.
As an indication of how seriously the company is taking the event, Volvo CE president Melker Jernberg and president of Volvo Penta, Björn Ingemanson, will also host a joint press conference at the show, which takes place in Shanghai next month.
The 1,804m² floor space made available to the OEM will showcase 11 machines, including the EC950EL excavator, which is the heaviest of all its excavator products. Also on show will be the EC18D compact excavator; the next-generation wheel loader L220H; the EC220EL excavator and the P7820D paver, both of which meet China’s national IV emission standard for non-road mobile machinery; and Volvo CE’s first rigid Hauler, the R100E.
Jernberg said, “These selected products showcase the best of Volvo, namely its commitment to serving its customers in China, the company’s comprehensive product portfolio, and its industry leadership.”
At the event, the OEM will also officially launch Volvo Services on the China market, offering services across nine categories to ensure continuous customer support through the lifecycle of the equipment.
Volvo CE will also launch its new Volvo Customer Experience Center to help customers better understand the equipment and its personalized services.
Making the most of the show, Jernberg and Ingemanson will hold a press conference on November 28 to discuss current market trends, industry developments, and their vision for the future.
