The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has come out on top in the Trade Show News Network’s (TSNN) list of 100 best US trade shows, both securing the outright winner position and seeing another of its shows feature in the the top 10.
The overall number one spot in the top 100 was taken by the ConExpo-Con/Agg show (above and below), but AEM was also represented at number five with its International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) – the demo expo – while its International Fluid Power Exposition (IFPE) show also appeared in the top 100.Â
“This honor is a tribute to AEM’s members and the support of our industries that make this show the gathering place every three years,” said Sara Truesdale Mooney, show director for ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017 and vice president of strategy and business development, AEM.
“AEM shows are industry-run, in which participants have a voice in show planning, industry partnerships enhance value, the association carefully monitors costs, and revenues go back into industry services.
“We work proactively with members, exhibitors, attendees and industry groups in the show planning process to produce events with measurable results that meet their business needs.”
A highlight of the ConExpo-Con/Agg show was the unveiling of the world’s first fully functioning 3D-printed excavator, which featured the first large-scale use of steel in 3D printing.
The show spanned more than 2,660,000ft² and will next be held on March 10-14 in 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada, USA.
