Konecranes has announced the launch of a driveline solution that increases both lift truck fuel efficiency and performance.
The EcoLifting system is available in three different iterations. The Power Drive provides up to 15% in fuel savings; Flow Drive offers up to 25% fuel savings; and the Hybrid Drive delivers as much as 40% in fuel savings.
“We are continuously improving the environmental performance of our products, processes and services for our customers around the world. Our customers can make better choices for the environment without compromising the performance and power of their machines,” says Håkan Andersson, product manager at Konecranes Lift Trucks.
Drive solution benefits
Of the three, Power Drive is the most cost-efficient, due to its very short payback time. Saving on fuel, it retains the same power but the reduced fuel consumption also leads to substantial annual financial savings compared to lift trucks with a normal driveline.
Flow Drive cuts fuel consumption and emissions while increasing the time spent on active operations, with minimal financial investment required. The solution brings concrete benefits to everyday operations – a precise, smooth ride, reduced noise and less cabin vibration – and a significant increase in overall productivity.
Konecranes fitted its hybrid reach stacker with the third solution, Hybrid Drive, testing it thoroughly in more than 10,000 hours of commercial operation.
