John Deere Power Systems will be showcasing its Stage V engine solutions at Intermat 2018.
Stage V engine legislation does not come into force for another eight months but JDPS is already prepared for it.
Its portfolio of compliant engines includes the brand new 13.6-liter unit that was built from a cleansheet design and will be on stand at this year’s Intermat in Paris, France.
A JDPS spokesman said, “The new 13.6-liter engine is designed to meet the upcoming needs of global markets by offering customers increased efficiency, installation flexibility and power in a more compact package.”
The rest of the line-up of Stage V-compliant engines at the French show running from April 23 to 28 includes the 2.9-liter, 4.5-liter, 6.8-liter and 9.0-liter. Combined with the 13.6-liter, the ratings of the range are between 36kW and 500kW (48hp to 670hp).
JDPS has more than 900 million hours of experience in the development and integration of diesel particulate filters.
As well as being an engine supplier, JDPS engines power many of the off-highway vehicles manufactured in-house, including its portfolio of tractors.
