Wirtgen has six cold milling machines, a slipform paver and a texture curing machine all making their North American debuts at ConExpo 2017. The firm will present two high performance, as well as two compact, and two small cold milling machines, at the Las Vegas, Nevada, show on March 7-11.
Among the six on show will be the high performance W 250i, which offers 753kW in engine power and is capable of reaching a milling depth/width of 350mm/2.2m, as well as the smaller, lightweight W 35Ri.
Visitors to the 40,000ft² Wirtgen display will also be presented with the SP 64i slipform paver for the first time in North America which, along with the SP 61i and SP62i, will ultimately replace the successful SP 500 series. Capable of coping with paving width between 2m and 6m and a maximum paving thickness of 450mm, the SP 64i boasts 180kW of power.
Completing the range of new products on display will be Wirtgen’s other concrete-paving solution, the TCM 180i texture curing machine. The flexible secondary treatment machine has a modular structure providing a maximum working width of 18m and is equipped with four crawler units.
