Prinoth is increasing productivity for off-highway operators with the launch of two new vehicles. Presented to the public for the first time on the company’s stand at Bauma 2019 on Thursday last week (April 11) was a new tracked dumper – the Panther T7R – and the Raptor 500 carrier vehicle.
Engineers at the OEM developed the Panther T7R to increase payload capacity by 31% compared with the outgoing model. Additionally, fuel economy on the machine means that it is capable of working through a whole day, even a long one, without needing to refuel.
Being less than 2.5m wide, the tracked dumper complies with standard transportation regulations – saving in transportation costs. The cab provides unrestricted views to the operator, increasing safety on the worksite, while the combined pedal and steering wheel enables intuitive operation.
Meanwhile, the Raptor 500 carrier vehicle is equipped with a 430hp Cummins Euromot, Stage V-compliant engine that consumes lower fuel than any comparable vehicle on the market in the same power category.
A direct mechanical powertrain by HDDL, combined with the 2,300mm working width, means the mulching head has minimal power losses, with more area performance per hour.
Weighing 19 tons, the machine has a low ground pressure footprint that allows for exceptional maneuverability, while protecting the soil during storm damage reparations in reforestation areas.
The pivoting Delta undercarriage features self-cleaning properties, while easy access to all service parts simplifies maintenance and servicing.
