McCloskey International has introduced two new mobile tracked feeder stackers – the RF80 and the RF80R (radial) – which are the largest and most productive products in their category. Both are available in dual-power and diesel/hydraulic versions.
Designed to facilitate the handling and stockpiling of materials such as aggregates, coal, C&D waste, sand and gravel, topsoil and compost, the new stackers are designed for low-level rear feeding, making them more accessible for various loader sizes and particularly advantageous in applications where space is constrained. Fitted with 4m long tracks for superior manoeuvrability and stability, the RF80 can be compacted for transport on a low-loader when moving from site to site.
Equipped with an 80ft long main conveyor and 40in wide belt, and capable of handling up to 800 tonnes/h, key features of the RF80 models include: a 100kW (127hp) Cat engine; fuel-efficient dual-hydraulic main drive system; user-friendly hydraulic controls; hydraulically adjustable discharge height up to 10m; and variable speed control to help prevent material build-up.
The RF80 also offers many options to align the equipment to the requirements of the owner/operator, including: complete remote functionality; various hopper liners, including Hardox; various belt types; full skirting on the main conveyor; and a head scraper upgrade.
