Keestrack has announced it is launching a redesigned track-mounted impact crusher unit.
The R3/R3e will be unveiled at the Intermat show in Paris, France, in April, and includes all the benefits of the diesel electric hybrid concept, the Destroyer 1011, that the company presented last year.
The R3/R3e is built to be a mobile solution for a broad range of applications from short-term construction site operations to flexible semi-stationary production in medium-sized recycling and production companies.
Characterized by fast loading and short set-up times, the units have extensive coverings, wide-opening doors and flaps that provide good accessibility to all operational components.
The new crusher will be available in a diesel hydraulic and as a fully hybrid version with a diesel/electric drive and electric plug-in power supply.
Both versions have a high-performance impact crusher 48 ICR 100-00 with a 770 x 960mm inlet opening and a crushing efficiency of up to 250 tonnes/hour thanks to a heavy-duty 920mm rotor with high rotor speeds.
There are also specially adapted crushing tools with a wide adjustment range for impact aprons.
It is powered by a 235kW EU Stage IV Volvo diesel engine or an optional Stage IIIA 260kW engine, plus a 300kVA generator and either 132kW or 160kW electric motor.
The exchangeable belt pulleys (375/450mm) can be used to adjust the crusher’s performance characteristics.
