Bucher Hydraulics has introduced its new innovative flow detector to the market. It detects a preset flow rate, can be used for various monitoring functions and complies with the safety regulations according to EN ISO 13849.
Typically, the flow detector is used for applications in which auxiliary actuators are supplied in parallel from one pressure source. This is required, for example, as a monitoring function for steering pumps in mobile machines. Thereby the flow (supply) to the steering pump is detected. The operator can see on a display in the control cabin that the steering pump is working correctly. This gives the operator the okay to proceed.
Features of the FDA12 include a working pressure of 420 bar with three times safety factor, low viscosity dependency, contact free switchpoint and a surface coating of zinc-nickel.
Benefits include:
Meets highest safety requirements;
Reliable switchpoint actuation;
Highest safety level for personnel and transported goods;
Long service life;
Maintenance-free advantages:
Complies with the safety regulations according to EN ISO 13849;
Low switchpoint variation when operated at different temperatures;
Low hysteresis;
No switch wear and tear;
Low pressure losses.
