Yale Materials Handling Corporation has received a 2015 Good Design award for its ESC030AD three-wheel stand.
The Good Design awards, which are presented by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, honor the best industrial designers and world manufacturers for their pursuit of extraordinary design excellence. The three-wheel stand was selected for its superior ergonomic and maneuverability features which help boost operational productivity and lower total cost of operations.
“We are dedicated to engineering and deploying industry-leading solutions built around solving our customer’s challenges,” said Matt Barrow, product manager for Yale. “Attentive, forward-thinking product design is essential in turning that dedication into reality, so we are honored to see the three-wheel stand recognized and our efforts confirmed.”
The award-winning ESC030AD three-wheel stand offers versatile performance in a wide variety of dock and drive-in/drive-through rack applications. It offers four battery compartment sizes which allow equal or better right angle stack over the leading competitor, while the 13.8in option maneuvers easily in aisles as narrow as 9.5ft.
Designed with the operator in mind, the three-wheel stand offers the Yale Smart Ride Floor System to minimize shock and vibrations, the multifunction control handle to provide simultaneous control of travel and hydraulic functions, and the optional Clear View mast to improve visibility and help boost productivity.
