The company has also announced that it participated in the Red Dot 2015 product design contest, which attracted 4,928 products (1,994 participants) from 56 countries. Within the category ‘Vehicles: Land, water and aerospace’, the Diverto QS 100 received the highest distinction Red Dot Best of the Best.
Founder and MD Leonard Huissoon states: “Delivering the first production machines after a five-year period of R&D is a really important milestone. The combination of four functions in one platform with an average of a 90% performance level compared to single purpose platforms has been achieved. We focused on every single detail and designed it from the ground up. Therefore we are very pleased with the jury’s report.
“It is the result of a dedicated Diverto team and a close collaboration with DB Industrial Design (UK). David Bowler’s interior and exterior design work has been of significant value to the overall aesthetics. We are now entering a new chapter by focusing on supporting our dealers and customers.”
