Cross Control has launched a multifunctional display screen for industrial vehicles.
The CCpilot VS has a 12″ display screen, powered by a powerful i.MX 6 quad core CPU, and will be on show at Agritechnica 2017 on November 12-18, in Hannover, Germany.
Designed to deliver an improved user experience, the new terminal has an optically bonded, truly sunlight-readable widescreen display that integrates PCAP touchscreen technology. As with other products from the company, the system is run off a LinX software platform and offers a choice of tools for application development.
A Cross Control spokesperson said, “CCpilot VS has multifunctional capability, meaning it can perform several functions in parallel; it can be used as an instrumentation display, machine control HMI, video monitor, electronic manual and more. This enables equipment OEMs to realize a full-fledged HMI system for their equipment.
“Separate displays for the various subsystems are made redundant, saving real estate and cost in the cab. The concept of a truly multifunctional display allows equipment OEMs to offer a high value, easy to use system as well as opening up avenues for offering aftermarket upgrades.”
The new display screen will be showcased at Agritechnica 2017 in Hall 14/15, at Booth K08.
