Bonfiglioli has built a compact but powerful wheel drive with an electric motor for a construction manufacturer.
The 605WE wheel drive has been designed and developed by the company in house and is intended for hybrid and electric machine platforms.
The robust solution provides an output torque of up to 10,000Nm and combines a three-stage gearbox with a fully integrated 8kW electric motor and parking brake.

Built to a high standard of protection (IP67), special painting coupled with high torsional resistance wiring make it suitable for four-wheel-drive vehicles, even in harsh environmental conditions faced on a typical construction site.
