Doosan Bobcat has announced that Alvaro Pacini will be the new president for the company’s Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) business, effective immediately. Pacini’s responsibilities will be to oversee business in the region, representing the Doosan, Bobcat, Geith and Portable Power brands.
Joining the company in 2011 as the vice president of sourcing in EMEA, Pacini went on to also take charge of total quality management in 2013 and then operations in 2015. Previously, the Brazilian national worked for Faurecia in Brazil.

Alvaro holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidade São Francisco in Brazil, specializing in automotive motors, and holds an MBA in industrial administration from INPG, Brazil. A native Portuguese speaker, he is also fluent in English, Spanish and French.
