Zetor Tractors established a partnership this summer with a company in Kenya. Following this, it will showcase its new Major and Proxima tractor models at a Kenyan tractor roadshow that makes 23 stops across the country during August and September.
“Zetor tractors are viewed as premium, powerful and robust tractors,” said Prakash Shah from Automobile Warehouse, Ltd. “It is our task to create brand awareness throughout the country. Encouraging Kenyan farmers to purchase our tractors will involve us offering them the opportunity to see and test them. This is the sole aim of the current tractor roadshow, which we are participating in.”
The roadshow is not limited exclusively to a farming audience; tractors with air conditioning are expected to be in high demand.
Annually, up to 900 tractors are sold in Kenya. Fifty percent of these have a power range of 800-100hp. In addition to Kenya, Zetor exports its products to other countries in Africa, including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Zambia.
Since it was established 71 years ago, Zetor has sold more than 1.3 million tractors to 136 countries. Zetor’s products offer a combination of strength and engine power, easy and practical designs, and excellent operation efficiency.
