Doosan has confirmed it will be presenting its latest diesel engine, the G2, at the Cereals 2018 event in Cambridgeshire, UK.
It will also present four machines, including counterbalance, reach and warehouse forklift trucks. The models will range in capacity from 1.3 metric tons and 2.5 metric tons, with power sources of electric, gas and diesel.
The main attraction is expected to be the G2 diesel engine, which is fully compliant with all Stage III/IIIB and IV emissions regulations without requiring a diesel particulate filter.
Paul Watson, UK commercial director for Doosan, said, “Farming is a tough business and
demands equally tough materials handling equipment. We have a strong, robust range of
heavy lifting trucks capable of meeting the diverse needs of the agricultural sector – from
handling heavy pieces of farm equipment and IBCs, to loading/unloading vehicles.
“Our industry leading G2 diesel engine delivers the power to get the job done and our electric heavy-lifting counterbalance trucks are just as able.”
