Comer Industries will be presenting its range of advanced feed mixer solutions at SIMA this year, in particular, it will be showcasing its 3-speed powershift transmission A-614 for use in high-capacity feed mixers.
The mechatronic system integrates the mechanical transmission with the hydraulic package to pilot the clutches, while the electronic control unit manages the necessary speed changes without torque interruption or the tractor’s power take-off system having to stop.
Alongside the powershift will be the company’s VP professional driveshafts and high range torque planetary drives for final augers. Also on display will be Comer’s self-propelled feed mixers, including the category 3 S-328 axle with 12 metric tonnes load capacity and 58,000Nm peak torque; the PGA-2103 VM high power planetary drive for transmitting the vertical drive to the auger; as well as the PGR-1702 W wheel drive with main tapered roller bearings and optional wet disk dynamic brake, ideal for sprayer machines.
