Manitowoc is preparing to debut six of its cranes at the Bauma 2019 next month.
In addition to the new models from its Potain and Grove ranges, the OEM will also present its latest lifting technologies at the world’s largest construction trade fair taking place in Munich, Germany (April 8-14).
Overall, 10 of the firm’s cranes will be on display at the show but it is likely that the new Potain topless tower crane and self-erecting Hup ranges as well as the Grove all-terrain and rough-terrain lines will be of most interest to visitors.
Further vehicle details are currently shrouded in secrecy, but all is to be revealed on April 8 when Bauma 2019 opens its doors.
“Since we became a standalone crane company nearly three years ago, we have bolstered our new product pipeline, developing products that our customers want to purchase,” said Barry Pennypacker, president and CEO of Manitowoc.

Manitowoc will occupy a 3,300m² area with a two-story office building and terrace as well as a technology pavilion that will highlight a number of customer-focused technologies – including the company’s latest developments in the field of telematics.
