Tractor manufacturer Antonio Carraro has confirmed it will be attending FIMA 2018 where it will be showcasing its range of vehicles.
A number of the machines on the company’s portfolio will be on display at the Spanish agricultural event, and among them will be the R Series, which has been developed for the compact tractor market.
The vehicle meets Stage 3B emissions standards for diesel engines, and while it is fitted with particle filter technology, it remains the same small size as the outgoing model it replaces.
Offering 98hp, the tractor is equipped with a four-cylinder turbo common rail engine from Kubota that has an electronic control system which instantly responds to operator commands. Thanks to a slightly longer pitch, the traction capacity is improved to ensure optimal distribution of weight across the machine.
The Spanish manufacturer will also display at the event the Tigre 4000, a tractor with 31hp power output from its three-cylinder Yanmar, delivering performance levels similar to those produced by larger AC tractors.
With an Actio oscillating chassis, a low-profile design and wide ground clearance, the vehicle offers a compact but spacious and ergonomic cab. The bonnet has a steel grille that guarantees excellent heat exchange. The cast iron front bumper acts as a ballast and guard and has an integrated tow hook. Power-take-off is at 540rpm and is synchronized with all gear speeds, while the lifting system can take up to 850kg.
FIMA 2018 takes place in Zaragoza, Spain, on February 20-24.
