Pride of place at the Goldhofer/Schopf outdoor stand at the inter airport Europe 2015 trade show, to be held in Munich, Germany, from October 6-9, will go to the international debut of the Phoenix, a new high-speed aircraft towing tractor with an exciting combination of new technical features, low initial costs and minimum fuel consumption.
“We are deliberately not revealing any more details in advance about our latest world first! But one thing is for sure if you come to inter airport Europe in Munich, you will not regret it,” said Stefan Fuchs, CEO of Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft.
In Munich, Goldhofer will again be presenting the most complete product portfolio comprising the latest generation of innovative tow tractors, for aircraft in all weight categories and for every possible working situation on the apron. Goldhofer’s towbarless AST-1 aircraft tractor, for example, is a winner with regard to flexibility, reliability and economics.
The new version of the Schopf F396 is a 70 ton tractor that is set to become the industry benchmark with its new design and cutting-edge technology. For the 8-16 ton weight category, Schopf has developed the F70, which is a convincing solution in terms of low operating and maintenance costs in apron service. A tractor with a worldwide track record of reliability and efficiency is the Schopf F110, which also comes in an electric version for zero-emission performance.
The Goldhofer and Schopf stand in Munich will also feature the Schopf Powerhybrid ZH5, a tractor with hybrid drive for handling freight and baggage with trailer loads of up 50 ton.
