Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) has received the ‘Supplier of the Year Award’ as best supplier in the Electronics category from Bernard Krone, a leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery. Business relationships have existed between the two companies for many years, and STW was recently selected as the development partner and supplier for central control units and motor bridge modules for the two new forage harvesters BiG X 480 and 580.
The KMC central control unit is a customer-specific version of the ESX-3XL, whereas the KMB motor bridge is also available from STW as the standard product ESX-MBC. STW has been delivering these products for two years, following the series launch of the harvesters.
The award was presented by Krone purchasing manager Georg Sasse, who said, “For Krone, it was particularly important to find a company which provided both high standards of technical competency and partnership orientation, and which thinks and acts long-term.
“STW is familiar with our market and has been successfully active in this market for 30 years. In particular during the product development, we were able to depend on the smooth interaction with the stable team at STW.”
In addition, the high quality and production standards at STW convinced the customer.
