Axiomatic’s new 24V DC/48V DC power converter provides regulated voltage for radios mounted inside off-highway equipment cabs.
The compact 24V DC/48V DC power converter provides a regulated output of 48V DC +/- 3% and 1.3A to power 48V devices such as radios. It is highly efficient, provides isolation and inrush current control. Two units can be installed in parallel to obtain more output or for redundancy.
The DC/DC converter is suitable for applications with battery voltage, engine cranking and load dump electrical conditions. Its rugged IP67 rated enclosure and TE Deutsch connector as well as vibration/shock compliance ensure the control is suitable for construction equipment applications.
