Held for the first time this April, a supplier day was held at the Jungheinrich AG plant Degernpoint near Moosburg, Germany. Highlight of this event with the theme ‘More Speed. More Flexibility.
More Value.’ was the presentation of the 2015 Supplier Awards.
With this award, the OEM recognizes its suppliers in various categories for excellent performances. Criteria such as constant high level of quality, first-rate delivery reliability and especially innovation performance were considered to evaluate suppliers.
Thomas Alberg, commodity manager electrical systems and electrical drivetrains at Jungheinrich, said in his tribute: “Assuring our customers that they can operate our trucks quietly with the required loads and needed speeds requires partners specialized in technologies for electrical drives and gearbox development. ABM Greiffenberger is one of these specialists with whom we have a long and trustful cooperation.
“Since 2012, ABM Greiffenberger has worked under the leadership of CEO Robert Lackermeier who has reshaped the company to a more process-oriented organization focussing on on quality, delivery reliability, responsiveness and innovation. Supplying almost all Jungheinrich production facilities, ABM demonstrates that not only outstanding technical solutions, but also high achievements in the whole supply chain, provide the optimum bases for a successful cooperation.”
Robert Lackermeier and Mayk Krueger (branch manager material handling) accepted the award for ABM Greiffenberger in the category Hydraulic and e-drives (electrical drives). ABM Greiffenberger supplies Jungheinrich AG with traction and steer systems used in three-wheel sit-down forklifts, pallet stackers, pallet trucks and order pickers.
