Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe (HCEE) has appointed Christophe Lecarpentier as key account manager. He will take on responsibility for developing and managing relationships with key accounts across Europe.
Lecarpentier has more than 30 years of construction industry experience, in sales, product and marketing. For the last two years he has been in charge of the Intermat equipment exhibition in Paris, following 18 years with a global construction machinery brand, working in European and African markets.
“We are very happy to welcome Christophe to HCEE,” says Dr Hubertus Muenster, director of CE sales at HCEE. “His long-term industry experience will help us to further develop our key account offering in Europe and to customise our solutions to customer requirements, for enhanced value creation.”
Hyundai has announced a major expansion of its machinery range this year. At the upcoming Bauma equipment fair in Munich, 10 of the 18 machines on display will be new to Europe, as the company launches skid steers, compact tracked loaders, materials handling machinery, dozers and its first full electric mini excavator to the market.
The company also continues to lead in new technologies, with a concept hydrogen fuel-cell powered wheeled excavator working on the Bauma stand, complete with a refuelling system.
“I am joining Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe convinced by the latest product launches, the high level of innovation and the current strategy that is in place for the European market,” says Lecarpentier. “I am thrilled to be taking up the Key Account Manager role and look forward to working with current and future partners.”
