John Deere has been awarded the gold medal for innovation by the 2019 Agritechnica organising committee ahead of this year’s event. The award is a recognition of John Deere’s ongoing efforts to develop advanced technology solutions, and beats nearly 300 companies in the same category.
The gold-medal winner was the all-new John Deere eAutoPowr, the world’s first first electromechanical split-path IVT, which was developed in partnership with Joskin, specialist in the transportation of agricultural machinery. Its infinitely variable transmission provides maximum reliability and durability compared to other gearboxes, while the integrated generator delivers up to 100kW power for external applications and implement electrification.
