Gehl is has announced the release of its new 1,350lb capacity RT135 track loader, which will extend its product range to ten track loaders.
“The RT135 provides track loader operators with a fully powered machine in a compact design,” said Aaron Haynes, global product manager for track loaders, Manitou Group. “Expanding the track loader offering allows Gehl to provide solutions for more applications and more users. Equipped with pilot joystick controls and compact dimensions, the RT135 supplies operators with a highly responsive machine that can access tight jobsites.”
The Gehl RT135 delivers profound power in a compact fashion, at an overall width of 57in (1448 mm) and height of 76in (1930 mm); it can lift up to 110in (2794 mm) and, at 35 percent operating capacity, can lift 1,350lb (612 kg). With an operating weight of only 6,510lb (2953 kg), the RT135 can be easily transported. The machine features a 46.6hp (34.3 kW) Yanmar engine that utilizes automatic regeneration and zero fuel additives, meaning clean emissions. In addition, the Gehl RT135 is built on an adapted R135 skid loader chassis for superior weight distribution and grading, so is equipped for any jobsite.
The cab-forward design of the RT135 features the high-level of safety seen across Gehl’s track loader offering. Equipped with Level II FOPS, the cab provides a robust operator station as well as excellent visibility on all sides of the machine, allowing for precise material placement.
The Gehl RT135 is equipped with the IdealTrax track tensioning system. This saves on maintenance and track replacement costs by automatically tensioning the tracks when the engine is on, eliminating the chance of over-tensioning and extending the life of the tracks up to 15%. Track tension is released when the engine is turned off, reducing strain on sprockets and bearings. Additionally, the need for manual tensioning of the tracks and daily tension checks are eliminated.
The Gehl RT135 is compatible with most allied track loader attachments. An optional Power-A-Tach system engages and disengages an attachment without the operator having to leave the operator station, providing an increase in efficiency and safety. Optional features on the RT135 include a back-up camera and a self-leveling hydraulic lift that keeps the attachment level throughout the raise/lift cycle.
