Vemcon is a pioneer in the control and automation of mobile machinery such as excavators, graders, wheel loaders and agricultural and municipal machines. Its core competence is the simplification of machine operation by combining intuitive ergonomics and driver assistance as well as the use of self-learning software and cloud services. Vemcon is a young, fast-growing technology company that counts OEMs, dealers, suppliers and users of construction machinery among its customers. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Independently setting up and commissioning its automation and control systems for excavators, graders and other construction machines;
• Supporting the continuous development of its systems and the testing of new automation solutions;
• Maintenance, repair and configuration of electronic, mechanical and hydraulic components;
• Performing troubleshooting and repairs, also in coordination with Vemcon partners and customers;
• Training of operating personnel and training of sales partners regarding installation, configuration and maintenance.

What we expect from you:
• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician or mechatronics technician or a comparable technical training;
• Knowledge of control engineering, mechanics and hydraulics; 
• Confident appearance toward customers;
• Driving license class B, preferably class C;
• Willingness to travel for several days to domestic and international destinations; 
• Ideally experience in dealing with construction or agricultural machinery;
• Passion for working in a team;
• A pragmatic approach, good technical understanding and craftsmanship make you an ideal candidate.
