OEM Key Account Manager/Sales Manager – Vemcon

Vemcon is a pioneer in the control and automation of mobile machinery such as excavators, graders, wheel loaders and agricultural and municipal machines. Our core competence is the simplification of machine operation by combining intuitive ergonomics and driver assistance as well as the use of self-learning software and cloud services. Vemcon is a young, fast-growing technology company that counts OEMs, dealers, suppliers and users of construction machinery among its customers. 

Your responsibilities will include:
• Sales of solutions for operation, automation and connectivity to OEMs of mobile machines;
• Generating leads and attending exhibitions and industry events;
• Developing and maintaining client relationships and cooperation partners (project management);
• Calculating and preparing offers in collaboration with the development and purchasing departments;
• Planning and implementing sales strategies and optimizing internal sales management processes; 
• Staying up-to-date on trends and market developments;
• Expansion and maintenance of our CRM-system and aftersales management tools. 

What we expect from you:
• Degree in engineering or economics with an affinity for technology, or a comparable qualification;
• Ideally several years of experience in working with complex and sophisticated buying centers;
• Ability to quickly grasp the customer’s challenges and to find appropriate solutions;
• Passion for working in a team;
• Excellent communications and presentation skills;
• Driving license class B and willingness to travel frequently to visit customers;
• Fluent English and German;
• Reliability, a responsible and structured approach to completing your work, and an affinity for numbers make you an ideal candidate.
