COMVEC 17 to open in a month

SAE International has announced that final preparations are underway for COMVEC 17 (Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress), which takes place at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel and Conference Center in Rosemont, Illinois, on Sept 18-Sept 20.

More than 600 attendees are expected to attend the event, which is considered to be the central forum to discuss vehicle and equipment development spanning many sectors, including on- and off-highway, agricultural and construction industries.

The program will include three symposia presentations, Q&A sessions on CAE applications, cybersecurity updates, powertrain developments, and the direction of SAE Standards activities.

A SAE International spokesperson said, “Discover the latest and critical need-to-know information impacting global commercial vehicles through the expanded event program. Participate in interactive panel discussions, experience the dynamic technical displays, and connect with industry leaders. Make plans now to attend!”

COMVEC 17 provides exposure to the latest tools and proven solutions for the on-road and off-road commercial vehicle industry. Attendees have the opportunity to learn from thought leaders on current challenges, initiatives and advanced technology to address issues, and discover the latest supply chain innovations from around the globe.
